Dunnage bag - universal cargo securing and stabilization system that can be used both independently and in combination with other cargo securing and protection devices.
Dunnage bag is a two—layer structure equipped with a valve. Outer layer consists of laminated kraft paper. The inner bag is made of reinforced polyethylene. This design of dunnage bag determines a number of it’s unique operational characteristics. Thus, these air bags are moisture-proof and absolutely airtight, allows to secure and isolate cargo of any size and configuration due to the complete filling of gaps (from 10 to 60 cm) between the loads.
Air bags are easy to operate, as they are inflated by compressor through a special valve, and deflate in just a few minutes.
Dunnage bags are used to secure a variety of cargo entities of various dimensions transported by different modes of transportation: railway wagons, containers, motor vehicles, sea transport.
Air bags are filled with air using a pneumatic tool (air gun) and a special adapter. Any compressor can serve as an air source. The air filling rate of the dunnage bag depends on the type of compressor and receiver volume.
